Which wrist should you wear a feng shui bracelet on?
The short answer is that traditions disagree, and the disagreement is old enough that no one is going to settle it. What you can do is pick a rule and follow it, which is more useful than switching based on whatever you read last.
The left-wrist rule
The most common version says to wear attracting stones on the left wrist and protective stones on the right.
The reasoning is about direction. The left side is described as the receiving side, so stones meant to draw something toward you (wealth, love, opportunity) go there. The right is the giving side, so stones meant to push something away (protection, grounding, warding) go on the right.
Under that rule, a citrine or rose quartz bracelet goes left. Black obsidian or a Vajra knot goes right.
The variant that reverses it
Some teachers reverse the two, arguing that the left hand is closer to the heart and therefore the place for protection. Others assign it by gender, or by which hand you write with.
The rule I find most consistent across sources: choose the wrist that corresponds to what you want the bracelet to do, then keep it there. Moving a piece from wrist to wrist every few days empties the practice of the small bit of meaning it has.
The practical answer
Your dominant hand does more work, so a bracelet there takes more knocks. A polished stone will pick up scuffs. A cord will fray faster. A metal clasp will catch on desks and doorframes.
If you cannot decide, wear it on the non-dominant wrist. It stays out of the way, it lasts longer, and you will not spend the day adjusting it.
What about wearing two
People do. One on each wrist is the common arrangement, usually an attracting piece on the left and a protective one on the right.
Two on the same wrist works if the pieces are different materials. Two metal pieces stacked will scratch each other. A cord bracelet next to a metal watch is fine, because cord is softer than steel.
Does any of this change the jewelry
No. The bracelet does not know which wrist it is on. The choice is about what the practice means to you and how much wear you want to expose the piece to.
That is worth saying plainly, because a lot of the writing on this subject implies the stone will stop working. It is jewelry. Wear it where it feels right and where it survives longest.
If you are buying as a gift
You probably do not know which wrist the recipient favours, or whether they follow any of this. Buy the piece you think they will like, and mention the convention when you give it. Most people find the explanation more interesting than the rule.
Proyoo bracelets are sized and clasped for either wrist. The feng shui and five-element designs are unisex and adjustable.
